Wax Plate Production Process:
The wax plate production process leverages the low boiling point of ammonia (–33.4°C) and its high latent heat of vaporization to cool liquid wax into solid blocks efficiently. Here’s how it works:
Refrigeration Cycle: The ammonia pump circulates liquid ammonia into a cold chamber with an insulation layer. As the liquid ammonia absorbs heat from the liquid wax, it evaporates into gaseous ammonia.
Continuous Cooling: The gas ammonia is then compressed, cooled, and converted back into liquid ammonia, which is recycled back into the cold chamber. This continuous cycle maintains a low and consistent temperature, providing an ideal environment for paraffin wax molding.
Molding Process: Liquid wax is quantitatively poured into wax plates, which move in 12 layers along a chain within the cold chamber. The wax gradually cools and crystallizes into solid blocks.
